Robert is a Senior Financial Advisor at DBR & CO. He joined DBR in 2024 to serve as portfolio manager for the DBR Long Term Value Program and to coordinate expansion of the Firm’s Institutional Advisory Services product and service offerings.

From 2004 until 2024, Robert served as Founder and Managing Director of Chapel Street Advisors LLC, a financial advisory boutique that provided wealth management services and portfolio management expertise to a select group of individual and institutional clients. Prior to founding Chapel Street, Robert served in Yale University’s Office of Development, where he was responsible for raising major gifts to the University from alumni and other stakeholders in Boston and London. Earlier, Robert enjoyed a successful career as a corporate banker, where he structured, arranged and syndicated numerous multi-million dollar and multi-billion-dollar acquisition and project financings for corporate clients in the United States and Europe. Between 1989 and 2002, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Security Pacific Merchant Bank (now part of Bank of America) and TD Securities (now part of TD Bank Group) in Chicago, New York and London.

Education

Robert graduated magna cum laude from Miami University in 1989 with a BS in Business Administration and graduated from Yale University in 1993 with a Master's degree in Public and Private Management, where he studied under such noted economists as Stephen A. Ross and Barry J. Nalebuff.
